Decision moment

Augmented Reality

The customer does not see the machine on a screen — they see it in their own production area, at true size. They walk around it, check the layout, verify their sense of scale. All in the browser.

Platform

iOS · Android · Desktop 3D

Setup

A single line of embed code

App

Not required — WebAR

Scale

1:1 true size

The problem it solves

"Will this fit in my space?"

The dimension table in the catalogue does not answer this question. The customer reads the figure but does not feel the size. And they cannot decide on something they do not feel.

The decision gets postponed or a site visit becomes necessary; both cost you time and money. Think of the cost of a sales engineer's flight, hotel and two days — then multiply that by every prospect under evaluation.

AR closes this question in minutes. The customer raises their phone, places the machine on their own floor, walks around it. Door width, ceiling height, operator space, service access — all of it becomes clear immediately.

How it works

Four steps, no setup at all.

01

3D on the product page

Desktop and mobile

The visitor rotates the model, zooms in, switches variants; they see angles a photograph cannot establish. AR is not needed for this stage — the browser is enough.

02

The "view in real life" button

One tap

Tapping the button on the phone opens the camera directly. There's no redirect to an app store, no download, no account to create. On Android, Scene Viewer takes over; on iOS, AR Quick Look does.

03

Placing it on the floor

1:1 true scale

The device detects the surface and the machine settles at true size. The user walks around it, looks from different angles, drags to reposition it.

04

Sharing and contact

Capturing the lead

They take a screenshot to send to their management, or request a quote from the same screen. A contact area sits where the experience ends; the warm moment is not lost.

The technical side

Format

glTF/GLB for Android and desktop, USDZ for iOS AR Quick Look. We prepare both; you add a single line of code.

Weight

A production CAD model is too heavy for the web. The AR version is separately optimised — the target is smooth performance on a mid-range phone.

Integration

WooCommerce, Shopify, OpenCart, WordPress and custom software. It embeds into your existing product page; no separate site is needed.

Distribution

A link, a QR code, or a square embedded in the quotation PDF. In the decision meeting everyone can look from their own phone.

Retail and e-commerce research shows clear conversion gains and lower return rates for product pages with 3D/AR (Shopify, Harvard Business Review). These figures do not transfer one-to-one to industrial B2B; the gain here appears mainly through reduced dependence on site visits and trade fairs.
